Anime art has literally SEIZED CONTROL over DeviantArt as a website. Sigh.

Sometimes it really ticks me off or makes me uncomfortable when people get really upset or angry towards me because I'm an exceptional artist. Compliments and criticism are wonderful, and I appreciate it so much, but there's a line between that and straight up envy..which is just a formula for an awkward situation. And for most of  the time, people always ask me "how do you draw like that" Which, really hardly gets to me, but at the same time it does. Mostly, because I have no idea what to say, and if I went off on a long speech about how I make my art and what it means to me and really 'how I draw' people would just be like "lol, she's one o

You can get naked. Take off your shirt and pants and expose everything you've got to the open air, and even if you're physically naked, to me, that's not really being naked. It's when you can bare your soul, all of your emotions whether it be fear, sadness, happiness...everything. To show exactly what you've got inside, exactly what you're made of, who you are. To reveal all of that, to yourself or somebody else, that's being naked. That's being vulnerable, that's showing trust, connecting with someone else, another soul or your own. To be naked is a beautiful thing. That's all I have to say.
